Mission Planner For Mac



The Mission Planner, created by Michael Oborne, does a lot more than itsname. Here are some of the features:

  • Point-and-click waypoint/fence/rally point entry, using Google Maps/Bing/Open streetmaps/Custom WMS.
  • Select mission commands from drop-down menus
  • Download mission log files and analyze them
  • Configure autopilot settings for your vehicle
  • Interface with a PC flight simulator to create a fullsoftware-in-the-loop (SITL) UAV simulator.
  • Run its own SITL simulation of many frames types for all the ArduPilot vehicles.

APM Planner 2.0 is an open-source ground station application forMAVlink based autopilotsincluding APM and PX4/Pixhawk that can be run on Windows, Mac OSX, andLinux.

Quick Start Guide¶

  1. Install APM Planner for Mac OSX,Windows and Linux.
  2. To setup your ArduPilot, PX4, or Pixhawk autopilot, complete the topics inthe Autopilot Setup section. If your autopilot hasalready been configured using Mission Planner, there is no need toredo calibration.
  3. Connect to Mavlink and get to know APMPlanner’s Flight Data.
  4. Plan a mission with APM Planner.
